The Registry must be good enough to wake up, and endeavour to take an intelligent interest in the proceedings in Court. I drew attention to this matter, because I had already, in my judgment in the Peak Murder Case, had to draw attention to the very serious omission of the Registry in the matter of translation of evidence. What has occurred in that case is entirely the fault of the Registry; and unless an intelligent interest in the work of the Court is taken by the Registrars worse things will happen.
